Treydon and Ashelyn's cousin Stockton had a birthday party at Liberty Land. Their favorite part was laser tag, but I didn't get a picture of that. It was funny watching all these boys wearing this "huge" laser tag gear. They also got to rock climb. This was Trey and Ashie's first attempt at rock climbing. Treydon was determined to get the top buzzer, and after 15 or so tries he did accomplish his goal!

Gloria Carter Young

Gloria Carter Young passed away early in the morning on Feb. 20, 2009.

Quin's grandma has been such an amazing woman. She accomplished lots and was such a great grandma to us and to our children. It was her time to go and we will surely miss her, but she is where she needs to be right now. We love you Grandma!

This has been the fourth death in our family since we moved to Utah. It has been one hard year and a half, but I keep reminding my self that I am so blessed to be around family and to have such great family to be associated with.

I love my family!

Painting her piggies with what!?!

Hanging out with my family always brings new and interesting ideas to my kids minds. I think it is quite funny. My sister Candice has some Brats dolls from her childhood years and she willingly brought them out to share with Ashie. Ashie thought the fingernail polish was fun and started painting her toe nails with the Brats polish. She kept saying "Look mom, I paint my nails!" She thinks she is a big girl now.

I can handle this kind of polish anytime (I wonder when she will realize that it isn't real?)!

Ice Skating Fun

Quin has been out of state doing a rotation so the kids and I hung out with my family. We picked Quin up from the airport and then went ice skating.

Splashin Around!

My parents live by the Kearns Rec Center so we all headed over for some water fun. This is the regular thing to do on nights when everyone is around. We have so much fun!

This is Treydon purposefully making funny faces as he fell off the slide. I had to follow him and my brother Nick around because they wanted me to take pictures of everything they were doing.

We had some family friends come along, who Ashie and Trey love. Josh and his brother were basically toys to play on!


Jesse is teaching Ashie to swim. She just loved the attention!


Here is my dad (grandpa) with Nick and Treydon. They had to splash around in the deep pool!

Ashie hung out with Auntie Camille the whole time. I thought it was cute both their swimsuits were polka dots.

Here is Aunt Nellie. She hung out with me since I couldn't get in the water (the dermatologist got to some of my moles).

My camera was acting up so the pictures aren't that good, and the ones I got the smiles weren't the best, but I just had to post how fun it is for Trey and Ashie to hang out with their granparents, aunts, uncles, and friends.
