Baseball Tournament Festivities

We headed down with Quin's sisters families and his parents to watch Hayden, Stockton, and Shaefer's baseball tournaments in St. George. This was a last minute decision on our part (seriously, we packed in an hour and left). But it was worth it, we had so much fun! Let me show you how much fun we had.
The kids spent a good deal of time on their Game Boys and Nintendo DS's. Here are Ashelyn and McKinsey with feet up in the air and playing away.

At one of the games an icecream truck showed up (he is one smart icecream man!). It was 85 degrees or more so the kids definitely needed a treat to cool them down. We got spongebobs, spidermans, and whatever else the icecream man could dish out.
Here are Ashelyn, Treydon, Brody, and McKoy on a dirt hill that seriously entertained them for about six hours.

Ashelyn's version of how to entertain herself during two days (16 hours) of baseball.

I didn't get any pictures of the boys playing in their baseball games (what a horrible aunt - I guess I just relied on the mothers to take care of that!) so I don't have any pictures of these amazing boys at the moment!

Sparkle Toes

If you haven't seen the latest craze, it's sparkle toes! My niece McKinsey knows all the cool things, and she makes sure the family is up to date. Can you see the sparkle on Ashelyn and I's toes!?! Yes, we were definitely "in style" in St. George!

Draper Temple Insights

We got to take the kids up to the Draper Temple Open House. It was so precious to see the kids understand what mom and dad do when we go to the temple. Treydon had been wondering why he couldn't go inside with us and was so excited when we took him in. We have recently had many talks about what goes on in the temple. My favorite question was when Treydon asked how we got the dead bodies up to the baptismal font-his mind was really working:) The kids favorite part was the never ending mirrors! They want them in our house!!!

Icee's anyone!?!

We went up to the E-Center this weekend to watch some high school basketball games. Mykell and her family were also there.
McKoy, Treydon, Shaefer, Stockton

Here are the boys eating their ICEE's. They all needed their own and "had" to have all the colors of the rainbow on them. I don't think the boys got much further on their ice than what you see here!!!

Ashelyn had to have red. Her tongue was died for the rest of the day. Atleast she matched her shirt!

My Monkeys!

There are many reasons I call my children Monkeys! And I finally have some proof to show you. Ashelyn got herself dressed today (swimsuit, shoes, and a jacket - atleast I taught her to put a jacket on!). She just "had" to go outside and play in the snow. By the time she got dressed there wasn't much snow left. She played for about 10 minutes until I made her come in because she wasn't dressed "appropriate" for the weather. But she insisted she wasn't cold!!!

Treydon's new thing is to play "on top" of the monkey bars, instead of hanging from them. He says it's "cooler"!
